Mechanical Test Engineer - Direct Hire

A large manufacturing company located near Peachtree City, GA is looking to add a direct hire Mechanical Test Engineer to their growing team. The Hiring Manager is looking to hire ASAP.

Salary Range: $70-80K/year

Responsibilities of the Test Engineer:
  • Create test plan.
  • Set up test vehicles per the test plan including assembly and disassembly.
  • Set up test equipment for data acquisition.
  • Conduct tests.
  • Analyze data, give engineering thoughts, and document test result with final judgement.
  • Complete tasks on-schedule as directed by Managers.
 
Requirements of the Test Engineer:
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Hands-on skill of using hand tools and assemble/disassemble vehicles.
  • Skill to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition principle.
  • Good written and verbal communication ability.
  • Personal hands-on experience with cars and/or powersport vehicles are preferred.
  • Hands on fabrication experience is a plus.
