Leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment solutions to the food industry in St. Canton, MA is looking for a Technical Writer. This is a temp to hire position.

Leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment solutions to the food industry in St. Canton, MA is looking for a Technical Writer. This is a temp to hire position.
Responsibilities of the Technical Writer:
- Creating user manuals with assistance from engineers.
- User manuals to include operating instructions, troubleshooting guides, bills of materials, and spare parts lists.
- Developing technical engineering documents including product data sheets, new product releases.
- Create assembly instructions.
- Properly file all documentation to be used by other departments.
- Assist with entering part and assembly information into our ERP system.
- Assist engineering as needed with general administration tasks.
Requirements of the Technical Writer:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint
- Technical writing
- Working in an engineered to order environment.
- Viewing and reading engineered drawings.
- Inventory management system / MRP software
- Additional skills not required to be qualified for the job.
- AutoCAD / Draftsight 2D CAD experience
- Solidworks 3D Cad
- Solidworks EPDM
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Wrike or other similar project management software.
- Someone who has experience with mechanical tech writing and can talk technically with engineers ideally with some experience with AutoCad or Solidworks is helpful.
