Junior Engineer / Project Engineer - Direct Hire - Yonkers, NY
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to start a career in a manufacturing environment, building various mobile equipment. 

We will offer training and exposure to various tasks related to the our manufacturing process and engineering at various phases of projects including field work. The candidate must be willing to perform variety of engineering tasks to learn the products, design concepts, the company operations and, the industry practices. The actual assignment varies depending on the project demands at the time of hiring.

Job Description:
  • The position plays a role in resolving various engineering issues in the manufacturing process; systems integration and manufacturing aligned to project schedules. The issues can be related to System Functions, Functional Interfaces, Electrical Interfaces, Mechanical Interfaces, Asset Management and, Test Equipment.
  • Discerns assigned topics, plans solution paths, and coordinates tasks with other engineers of various disciplines for resolution
  • Evaluates electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, test procedures, test reports, technical proposals and, other documents as required
  • Generates and maintains asset management documents
  • Generates official correspondences and tracks progress
  • Generates technical meeting minutes and tracks progresses on action items
  • Attends various meetings, witness tests, and other project events
  • Supports on-site testing activities, troubleshooting and, field modifications
  • Supports other departments within the company concerning engineering matters in all phases of the projects and the manufacturing

  • BS in  degree in Engineering - Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering or science fields
  • 1-3 minimum experience; ideally working in a manufacturing environment with various machines and automation.
  • Practical knowledge in both electrical and mechanical engineering; good schedule management and task management skills
  • Able to travel for business to various domestic and international destinations
  • Be available outside of the normal business hours when required
  • A team player; a  proactive problem solver on any issue, both technical and non-technical
