A capital equipment manufacturing company in Conyers, GA has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This is a temp to hire opportunity in a growing industry.
Shift of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM

A capital equipment manufacturing company in Conyers, GA has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This is a temp to hire opportunity in a growing industry.
Shift of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
- Receive all shipments, verify contents, inspect for damages and relocate to designated area
- Notify Procurement Specialist of damages, shortages or overages of vendor shipments
- Forward supporting documentation to Inventory Control Specialist
- Confer with the Production Department to coordinate production orders
- Pick, pack and issue delivery notes for all orders
- Arrange shipments with carriers
- Coordinate returns of damaged items/goods to customers or vendors including data entry,
- preparation and shipment
- Assist other departments with shipping needs and respond to shipping related questions
- Generate Bills of Lading for freight shipments and input into SAP B1
- Forward pick lists and delivery notes to Logistics and Import Specialist for processing
- Assist Project Managers and interact with freight forwarders to coordinate freight shipments if
- requested
- Organize component shelves to ensure Warehouse is clean and safe
- Assist purchasing specialist with administrative tasks when required
- Program modules (MEC3 Terminals) for installation into equipment
- Conduct sieve testing to determine bulk density of materials
- Assist Production Department with the supply of components to be installed
Qualifications of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience
- Forklift license (Preferred)
- Proficient English communication skills, second language would be an asset (Spanish, German)
- MS Office, SAP B1, 3rd party carrier tools
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
