Senior Financial Analyst - Hybrid Opportunity

Leading biotech company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide analytical and accounting support to the Americas Field Operations Division. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Americas FP&A team, which provides accounting, analysis, planning, forecasting, and incentive compensation support for the division.  

General Details:
Long term contract (potential to go perm)
Pay: $44/hr - $53/hr

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Orders and sales reporting and analysis, including:

       - Backlog analysis, reconciliation, and forecasting
       - Key product reporting, including trend analysis, forecasting,            and sales performance.
       - Reconciliation of orders, sales, and cost of sales between                  reporting systems and the general ledger
  • Responsible for calculation and analysis of quarterly revenue deferrals and forecasts.
  •  Margin Analysis of Mass Spectrometry products
  • Annual planning and monthly forecasting of spending
  • Ensuring financial results are accurate and adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including:

       - Journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations involving                deferred revenue, cost of sales, and other accounts
       - Advising the business and improving processes for sales and            reporting
  • Incentive plan design, goal setting, and quarterly calculation for assigned business field organizations.
  • Actively participate in special projects and adhoc reporting requests for business partners and other organizations.

Qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience with SAP and BW or Analysis for Office preferred
