Job Description
The Process Improvement Leader will utilize process improvement principles and best practices to drive and establish high quality Material Master Data Management practices and highly efficient Material Commercialization processes. This is a high visibility position utilizing lean, six sigma and change management principles to implement process efficiencies necessary for Waters to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

- Facilitate and execute the process mapping, required standardization, and development/implementation of strategies to improve process efficiencies and thus improving the satisfaction of external and internal customers. Identify and implement streamline opportunities on Material Master Data inputs and input processes.
- Effectively applies Process Improvement Frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to improve process performance.
- Leads and implements Change Management methods and techniques to drive broad adoptions of solutions.
- Leverage advanced business acumen to analyze operational data to problem solve and provide innovative and strategic solutions that include a well-informed best practice perspective.
- Effectively motivates and influences cross functional and departmental teams without direct authority, partnering with leaders driving change; teaches and trains others and empowers and drives Continual Improvement to positively affect results.
- Independently coordinates the activities of multiple complex cross-functional project teams to keep projects on schedule.
- Bachelor’ s degree in business, engineering or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
- Approximately 8-10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a global, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.
- Continual process improvement mindset.
- Bias towards action.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis skills. Ability to think strategically and employ outside the box approaches.
- Experience creating KPI’ s and benchmarking analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of primary system tools, including but not limited to SAP/CRM, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced knowledge of Excel or similar tool required. Lotus Notes database and/or Smartsheet experience a plus.
