Planner 
Our client located in Dracut, MA has a direct hire opportunity for a    Planner II on a first shift! If you are looking to bring your talent to a progressive manufacturing company where you can work with a great team and have opportunity for growth, this is what you have been looking for!

Responsibilities of the Planner II:
  • Plan work orders to go to shop floor by using Visual and forecasts that come from customers
  • Monitor and adjust to customer forecast for all current kanban programs; creation of any new programs
  • Review Visual Reports to adjust schedules due to labor constraints
  • Understand workloads in each production area and know when and how to force jobs through
  • Work with Inside Sales, Engineering and Production on projects to ensure adherence to agreed upon production schedule
  • Analyze customer shortage reports and expedite through production
  • Communicate with Inside Sales and Purchasing on any material constraints impacting the release of work orders to the shop floor
  • Process customer expedite requests by working with Purchasing and Production to determine best delivery date based on parts and labor
  • Evaluate on-time delivery to customers

Requirements of the Planner II:
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate’ s or Bachelor’ s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing/KanBan implementation
  • Master Scheduling experience
