Optics Fabricator - 1st Shift
Global provider of instruments in Irvine, CA is looking to hire an Optics Fabricator on 1st shift. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Hours of the Optics Fabricator:
5:00 am - 1:30pm
Pay Rate of the Optics Fabricator:
$19-$21/hr

Hours of the Optics Fabricator:
5:00 am - 1:30pm
Pay Rate of the Optics Fabricator:
$19-$21/hr
Responsibilities of the Optics Fabricator:
- Run multiple manual spindles to polish optical materials ie: CaF2, Fusilica, BK7 etc.
- Make pitch laps and cut pitch laps for desired optical corrections.
- Test optical parts using Interferometers, Zygos, NuView to hold metrology specs from engineering drawings.
- Perform SQ inspection.
- This is a temporary role with potential to hire permanently if business need allows.
Requirements of the Optics Fabricator:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
