Job Description


Our client is currently leading a search for a Material Handler to join our organization.   In this role, the individual will perform a variety of material handling duties With emphasis on Picking and Packing on the assigned shift in a fast paced warehouse environment. 

7am- 3: 30pm OR
11am-7: 30pm

Requirements:
  • Manifesting and Creating Deliveries to ensure the prompt, accurate processing of customer orders
  • Picking and Packing Domestic and International shipments
  • Preparing shipments for Trade Shows
  • Packing Hazardous Materials for Transportation
  • Receiving finished goods
  • Misc. duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
  • At least 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment, High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift, Stockpicker, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, and Step Ladder
  • Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction
  • Familiar with warehouse safety procedures
  • Good communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment, and to follow and exchange verbal and written instructions
  • Administration skills including the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to work overtime on short notice during peak workload periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
