A well-known LED manufacturer in Norcross, Ga has an immediate opening for an Inventory Controller. This is a temp to hire poisition for someone with experience in inventory management.
Shift of the Inventory Controller:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM

Shift of the Inventory Controller:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities of the Inventory Controller:
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
- Evaluates process and procedures to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes inventory levels to anticipate problems and shortages.
- Enter data on multiple computer systems.
- Develops business relationships with other departments and assist when possible.
- Assist SCM Planner validating future supply and logistical needs.
- In collaborate with Operations Management set area goals, efficiency targets, and monitor progress.
- Execute and direct execution of inventory services, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping parts to attend service request.
- Perform visual inspection on incoming material assuring proper delivery, documentation, and storage location.
- Updating inventory count, report discrepancies and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business
- Ensures inventory areas are well organized and clean.
- Carry material to/from receiving dock, work-cells, or other required location.
- Follow directives from Operations management.
Qualifications of the Inventory Controller:
- Experience in managing inventory and leading inventory associates
- Good verbal and written communication
- Organizational and logistics skills
- Versed with computers, Office 365, and general inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail
- Data analysis and problem solving
- Interpersonal ability and team oriented
- Operate an order picker and drive a forklift (nice ability to have)
- Problem solving and proactive resolution critical thinking.
- Dependable, honest, and dedicated
- Attentive to detail
