Job Description
Engineering Technician
We have a great opportunity for an Engineering Technician in Plymouth, MN. You will work on projects to support R&D development and verification efforts. This is contract to hire role.
Responsibilities of the Engineering Technician:
- Conduct mechanical tests of medical device products to assess compliance to product requirements.
- Collect, record, analyze and report test data.
- Follow testing schedule and provide status.
- Assist in performing failure analysis.
- Review and approval of test plans and reports if required.
- Communicate issues in a timely manner to the engineer.
- Thorough knowledge/experience with corporate, business unit and lab quality management system documentation.
- Gain thorough knowledge/experience with relevant industry standards for company products
- Follow department safety and efficiency programs.
- Collaboration with current staff which includes other engineers and technicians in team-oriented environment.
Requirements and Qualifications of the Engineering Technician:
- Associate degree is required
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Solid communication skills including excellent writing skills and fluency in English.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Skilled at planning and ability to pay attention to details.
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment.
