Electronics Technician - Control Panels - 1st Shift

A well-established provider of automation control solutions and services in Lakewood Ranch, FL is looking to add an Electronics Technician to join their growing team. This is a temp to hire position. 

Responsibilities of the Electronics Technician:
  • The Electronic Technician is responsible for the assembly of Electrical Control Panels per customer orders.
  • Install and wire devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, transmitters, etc.
  • Maintain necessary U.L. & other quality control files.
  • Layout of components in various size cabinets.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.
  • May assume lead role on a customer project.
 
Requirements of the Electronics Technician:
  • Requires a minimum of a High School Education.
  • Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired and 3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams.
  • Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a preferable.
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
