Distribution Coordinator - 1st Shift

A global provider of scientific testing devices with locations throughout the US and abroad is looking to add Distribution Coordinator to their team in Ward Hill/ Haverhill, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Shift of the Distribution Coordinator:
Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate of the Distribution Coordinator:
Responsibilities of the Distribution Coordinator:
  • Employee is expected to perform any 3 of the following tasks: Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.

Requirements of the Distribution Coordinator:
  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
