Corporate Trainer – Rehabilitation products

Office/Hybrid, Full time, Durham NC. (RTP area)

The Corporate Rehab Trainer is responsible for facilitating learning to prepare Rehab Sales Reps how to achieve sales quota, ensure a profitable sale and support marketing objectives through training initiatives while operating within the company policies/procedures and expense budget.

Responsibilities include developing, creating and delivering content for all levels of training classes and sales meetings, in an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of sales representatives. In addition, the Corporate Rehab Trainer works collaboratively with other training team personnel, Field Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, and other internal personnel to create and execute training tactics to address the needs of Sales.

What you’ ll be doing
  • Plans, develops, and delivers brand strategy aligned training and development programs to the sales force and sales management team in conjunction with Rehab sales management and Rehab marketing,
  • Supports the training needs of the sales organization to ensure the company meets and/or exceeds overall key performance indicators including sales revenue, growth objectives, gross profit, etc,
  • Assist with logistics for external and internal training
  • Advanced Rehab product Training
  • Training for National or Regional Sales Meetings
  • Collaborates with outside vendors and suppliers as required to supplement the learning process and ensure the highest quality and technological requirements are met,
  • Partners with rehab sales management to design and implement reinforcement of training after formal classroom time,
  • Evaluates sales rep performance during training and field rides and provides feedback, making suggestions for improvement;
  • Ensures compliance with all internal policies in all training activities and personal performance, (i.e. Advamed Code of Ethics);
  • Facilitates Advanced Rehab Product Training and additional training via webinars;
  • Creates distance learning modules.
  • Achieves certifications required to successfully execute the training activities.

What you’ ll bring to the table

• BS/BA Degree preferably in health science;

• Minimum 4 years successful sales experience in Rehab Medical Device or Biotech;

• Minimum 2 years rehab product training experience as a corporate/national trainer;

• Strong analytical capability with respect to deal profitability and problem solving;

• Excellent oral and written communication skills;

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills;

• Understanding of neuromodulation or rehab stimulator medical devices is essential;

• Basic understanding of Adult Learning and Development Principles;

• Building and measuring training program effectiveness;

• Ability to coach and adapt and change as needed;
  • Global departmental coordination including working with matrixed teams;
  • Demonstrated computer experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Experience with data sharing software a plus;
  • Overall ability to problem solve and generate solutions to advance needed work;
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently to progress projects.­­­
