DAVIS has partnered with an established Manufacturing company who’ s been in business over 60 years and serves the world market with their custom machinery. Looking for a PLC/Controls Engineer to join their team!

Controls Engineer

Contract to Permanent

Responsibilities:
  • Use Allen Bradley, Siemens, IDEC and other controls software development products to create and maintain control and HMI software for products.
  • Develop and release BOMs and assembly documentation to Manufacturing group for procurement & fabrication of automated splicing systems
  • Create and update documentation used by peers in the fabrication of replicate systems and/or sub-assemblies
  • Interface either directly or indirectly (through Sales) with customers in the development and refinement of system performance requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering or 7-10 years+ experience with Controls/PLC’ s
  • AutoCAD to develop electrical and pneumatic schematics for products
  • Proficient in PLC control and PLC programming and electrical components and circuits
  • Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and control
  • Design of control panels following NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70, ISO-13849-1 (Safety of Machinery)
