Chemical Operator - 2nd Shift 

Global provider of scientific testing devices is looking to hire a Chemical Operator on 1st shift. This is a temp to hire position in Rock Hill, SC. 

Pay Rate of the Chemical Operator:
$18/hr

Responsibilities of the Chemical Operator:
  • Responsible for prioritizing duties consistent with the production schedule to ensure manufacturing goals are met.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork without errors.
  • Knowledge of safe handling of hazardous chemicals without causing incidents.
  • Package chemicals according to all manufacturing packaging controls to ensure DOT compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings and activities, which is consistent with meeting team goals.
  • Responsible for the management of hazardous waste in accordance with all company and government regulations.
  • This includes the minimization of all waste that is generated from all activities.

Requirements of the Chemical Operators:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math skills which includes knowledge of weights and measures.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain forklift and stand-up lift certifications
  • Ability to work safely in a self-directed work team environment
  • Previous chemical manufacturing experience and computer literacy is desired.
