Aftermarket Assistant - Immediate Opening!

Great opportunity for someone who's looking to grow their career paths in the electronic component industry. A global engineering company is adding an Aftermarket Assistant to their team in Thousand Oaks, CA. If you have great customer service skills, this temporary position is for you!


Responsibilities of the Aftermarket Assistant:
  • Informing customers of company promotions and upgrades.
  • Qualifying leads, identifying decision makers & determining customer needs.
  • Responding to inquiries, resolving problems and preparing required sales documentation.
  • Coordinating with cross functional discipline actions necessary to support customer orders.
  • Communicating delivery issues directly with management and our internal customers
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements of the Aftermarket Assistant:
  • Associates degree or above plus 3+ years' experience in a customer facing role (preferably aerospace or other high-tech manufacturing).
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (Written & Verbal).
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and MS Office applications. Experience working with JDE would be an advantage.
  • Track record of over-achieving with excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills are a must.
  • Enthusiastic and Customer Service driven team player, capable and willing to work in a diverse environment.
  • Good business acumen.
